EYE SURGERY NEEDED FOR YUL BRENNER

On Thursday, July 2, 2020 a kind and compassionate woman brought AlleyCATS Alliance an abandoned cat that had been living at a local Okanagan Campground since approximately November 2019. People had been feeding the cat, but he was living outdoors and was in rough shape. Realizing that he needed 

more than just food she arranged for AlleyCATS Alliance to take him into our care. It was apparent immediately that this big boy needed to go to the Vet quickly. He was taken the next day to the Okanagan Animal Eye Care Veterinarian Clinic and it was confirmed that he has Entropion, a condition where the eyelashes grow inwards instead of outwards and rub against the cat’s eyes. Dr. Bauer estimates that Yul Brynner, that is what we have named him, is between 5 and 8 years old! Just imagine he has been living with this pain since birth! Dr. Bauer will be performing surgery on Yul Brynner as soon as he is able to have the surgery. If you would like to contribute towards Yul’s surgery so that he can spend the rest of his life pain-free it would be most appreciated!
